I am Prasant Narayan Dash, Founder and Managing Trustee at Steps Foundation.
It’s been more than a decade since I am on this field. I started this organization with the vision to transform the lives of people who are addicted to drugs, alcohol, etc. but are unable to get rid of those addictions. With the increasing availability of drugs and alcohol in recent times, more and more people are getting into the trap of addiction.
Once you get into addiction, your life becomes miserable. You try to find the solution but you can’t. Not only does the addict, but also the family members of the addict suffer from it. What I personally feel is that addiction can definitely be cured if the addict or victim is counseled properly and given the right therapy.
My entire motto is to persuade them to live a life full of purpose and happiness.

An ODISSI dancer by profession, Sourav Mohanty was initiated into Yoga at the Satyananda Yoga Vidyalaya. Here he completed his Master’s training at the yoga Vidyalaya and is actively involved in incorporating Yoga into his dance practice. Yoga, being the basis of life also forms the pivotal philosophy of dance. This forms the motto of Sourav’s yoga practice and he brings a fresh dynamism to his Yoga training. He was completed his Master’s degree in Odissi dance at the Sri Sri University where he is completed rigorous training in the Shastras under his elder brother and Odissi virtuoso Rahul Acharya.
